Kim Salmela
Designer Kim Salmela's passion just happens to be travel. As a young girl, growing up in cold Minnesota winters, she would page through copies of National Geographic and dream of exotic lands. As soon as she was old enough to travel on her own…she was off.

Kim was inspired by hip hotels long before she and Judy launched Hotel Maison. Back in the 90s, while shopping for her stores and clients in Paris, she visited Hotel Costes, and immediately knew how transformative an interior environment could be. She has continued to look to hotels from around the world to inspire her.

Judy George
Judy George is an entrepreneur, author, leading business woman and recognized expert in the home furnishings industry. She has 30+ years experience as a leader within the retail world, as the founder of Domain Home. She has an incrediable ability to spot trends and unwavering desire to give customers what they want. Judy sees consumer needs within the industry that are not being met.

Judy has taken her business savvy to her newest venture, Judy George International (JGI). Founded in 2009, JGI is a creative think-tank that develops home furnishings concepts and brands by capitalizing on pre-peak design and product trends and leveraging consumer insights and influences.
